Today I took a more femme bag out with me when I went to run errands. It's not super femme, and can be worn as crossbody or over-shoulder or carried as a handbag. I needed something that I could make work with my usual masc style(although I'm slowly adding some more femme aspects to that too), and really wanted to attempt the "handbag" thing instead of carrying my wallet in my pants as I usually do as my guy self. I also wore some mascara. It was a success. Hooray for gender euphoria! I'm loving being bigender, and really enjoying being my woman/femme self right now. Life is short, and at 46 and with dodgy health and disability, I don't have time to waste. I deserve full happiness and joy, and I'm grabbing hold of it all with both hands🥹💖 #woman #femme #bigender #trans #joy #livelifetothefullest #gendereuphoria

I'm having a fantastically girly day, pottering about gently after my medical appointments, and feeling grateful that I discovered I'm bigender and get to experience all of this now. For me, realising that I'm also a woman has felt like when I came out as a trans man in some ways-and it currently feels very much like another transition, in a sense. Because I'm also plural, there's been additional nuance and complexity around my discovery that I'm bigender, and that's okay too. I love being a trans man, and I love being a woman💖🥰 #bigender #trans #gendereuphoria #joy #happiness #hope

Good things today: Having worked out my baseline has dropped significantly because of my other health issues, which means I only currently have usable time available in two hour blocks where I'm functional(and then I need to nap again for anywhere from 2-6 hours), I made the most of a block of time-went to the store and got ready meals to put in the freezer for after my surgery, long life milk etc. The store wasn't busy, which meant no queue at checkout. Hooray! Got washing together to do later when I have another functional block of time. I want cozy clothes for hospital so I feel as comfy as possible, in what will be a challenging situation. Time with my system-mate spouse, laughing and relaxing, petting my(system)service dog, and talking about the future together. Printed some photos and messaged a couple of friends. #ThreeGoodThings #goodthings #thingstobecheerfulabout #joy #grateful

Done the Wordle yet? Even brief moments of leisure offer benefits, new study says Leisure activities don't require lengthy time commitments or a gym membership to pay off. A Dalhousie University study found that even taking a couple of minutes to watch the sunrise, do a word puzzle, savour a coffee or chat with a co-worker can help alleviate stress and bring joy. https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/nova-scotia/brief-moments-leisure-offer-benefits-dalhousie-study-9.7292269?cmp=rss

Opinion "We launched a war on nature. Now we are in a climate war zone Summer is not what it once was. We have been robbed of one of life’s great joys ,..,.,., It’s as if we launched a war against nature, and that has turned place after place into something that resembles a war zone. The climate movement is a peace movement, a movement to end this war and its casualties. We often talk about what climate change has wrecked in terms of what’s material, tangible, structures lost to fire, flood, or sea level rise, trees dying, species threatened, glaciers melting in warmer weather. But summer was an immaterial treasure and joy that belonged to all of us. 👉There have been youth-led lawsuits against the producers of climate chaos and the governments who’ve refused to act adequately – essentially for robbing them of their future. Robbing us all of the immeasurable joys of summer as it was is part of that theft. It’s not the main reason that climate action matters so much, but it’s a reminder that what we’re losing is not only the terms of our survival and our safety, but our freedom and pleasure."👈 https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2026/aug/04/summer-heat-climate-war-zone #climate #climatecrisis #summer #climateemergency #joy #youth #activism

Hey, friends! I'm on a quest! Please name something you are celebrating, that you'd like others to share with you to celebrate. The Universe gave me clear instructions that I am to celebrate, in order to get to what's next for me. So I would love to spread the spirit of celebration, and gather even more reasons to magnify the celebration. Wanna do this with me? 🦄🪄🌈 #PocketFriends #Celebrate #Share #Joy#Boost #PleaseBoost

for secret* reasons, i'm interested in other people's understanding and experience of joy. can you define what you mean by it? is it a regular presence in your life? an occasional visitor? a long-lost relative? a stranger? can you summon it? does encouraging it help it to appear, or does it only come when you have forgotten about it? feel free to ask and answer other questions instead. [edit: boosting this would be great, thx] *i'll get around to explaining this at some point; i have a concert today so will be less present than some times. #joy #mentalhealth

‘The Red Tree’ Léo Gausson (1860-1944) Léo Gausson was a French Post-Impressionist who worked closely with the artists of the Pont-Aven circle. His landscapes are remembered for their expressive use of colour. This is one of my favourites. Gausson was later mentioned in a letter from Theo van Gogh to his brother Vincent in connection with a proposed exchange of paintings, which was completed after Vincent's death. #art #postimpressionism #colour #light #joy

#TextureTuesday 21.07.2026 📷 & words by Naeema: "💔 When toys are prevented from reaching Gaza, children's childhood does not stop—they create their own toys with their own hands. From scraps and whatever they can find, they build small moments of joy amid so much pain, because childhood always finds a way to hold on to life, even in the hardest circumstances." 1/2 Link in bio.
