@ascentale@sfba.social @bikenite@fedigroups.social @juliette@mastodon.green @sam@social.coop#bikeNite #bikeNiteA A7 I wear shorts in the office year round, so not particularly an issue (thermal tights underneath when it's freezing cold). On the odd occasion I've worn baggy trousers, if they have an elasticated cuff I just pull them up to below the knee. Otherwise one of hundreds of velcro straps cluttering up the shed. I've never tried anything longer than my kilt skirtwise, so no insight to add.

@ascentale@sfba.social @MartyCormack@urbanists.social @bikenite@fedigroups.social#bikenite #bikeNiteA A1 I'm lying in bed, drinking coffee. Well... Propped up in bed. Otherwise I'd need a straw. Hmm. Future project? Anyways, Manchestershire, England. Biggest thing for me was understanding that I don't need to go fast. Slow down, enjoy. Or further but with less traffic is better. One of the two. Plus pretty much everything everyone else had said.

@ascentale@sfba.social @grammasaurus@mastodon.social @bikenite@fedigroups.social#bikeNite #bikeNiteA A1 Lying in bed. Outside is the western edge of Saddleworth Moor, where Manchester turns rural. My beloved partner has just brought me coffee. Life is good. How to deal with this heat? Two options: 1) don't 2) if that's not an option, use an ebike, and stick to the shade as much as possible. I'm lucky that my commute can be half done along a canal, which is a lot cooler.
