Did a quick attempt at mapping a vintage IBM 3270 font from FontForge to 8x16 bitmap to FPGA. Result is highly broken - see misaligned characters baselines, etc. And yet delightfully full of surprises. I think I I am going to keep it unchanged as a tribute to Nature’s many mysteries.

Ok, so even though the physical and virtual addresses of a 64-bits Raspberry Pi are 64-bits each, the •bus• address is 32-bits because that’s all the DMA controller can handle somehow and what was I supposed to do over the weekend again? Rest? Ahahahaha.
