"CEO said a thing!" #journalism involves parroting the claims of a business leader or executive with absolutely no context, correction, or challenge whatsoever, no matter how elaborate the delusion."
This contributes significantly to the unhealthy hype cycle we're vertigo-ing in.

For the #Prince obsessive, a 90 minute reel of the raw footage recorded for the music video of one of his greatest songs, "Mountains", from the mid-80s: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XqmbnIt7yew

Tis the season...
I saw the #Cloudflare EmDash release, and it looks cool, but it's not a #Wordpress killer...
Without a compelling case for migrating (I get the premise of plugin sandboxing is cool, but the fine print is that EmDash depends on Dynamic Workers to run secure sandboxed plugins, which are currently only available on paid accounts), going to a clone of WP on what seems to be just a way to try to drive paid CF accounts won't sweep a majority of WP sites any time soon.
Everything about the below lede...is a word aneurism. Translated dictionarily, an unscrupulous turd absconded with a fashion forward follicle collection.

The idea of Robert Glasper, Meshell Ndegeocello, Chris "Daddy" Dave and Pino Palladino just jamming around an 80s Ready For The World slow-jam, kind of works for me.
Steve Lukather (Toto, Michael Jackson), Michael Landau (Joni Mitchell, Miles Davis), Tim Lefebvre (Bowie, Knower), Jeff Babko (Jimmy Kimmel, Frank Ocean)
Keith Carlock (Steely Dan, Sting)...just jamming on a session of random tunes under the name "Boone's Farm" for fun in a small club. It's rough around the edges (I don't think this is a soundboard rec) but there are some fun bits in this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XsTd4wGnKw4
#StanleyClarke (Return to Forever) and #StewartCopeland (The Police) are such an utterly strange rhythm section, but damn do they rework tunes into fun places, in this case Stanley's jazz fusion classic "School Days" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YQdxhtTovJg
Covers I never knew existed, K.D. Lang doing #KingCrimson's "Matte Kudasai" which is probably one of the very few tunes in their massive catalog that could remotely be retrofit into Lang's style, but damn, it's just a beautiful take: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZLqwmOgG5c8
