I just finished reading a delightful book. It was everything I hoped for and simultaneously unpredictable (to me) in the twists and turns of the plot and events.
Delightful ensemble of characters I recognize myself in and sympathise complete with including their flaws and less mainstream aspects.
Wonderfully deep and nuanced world building including space for going many different places, and simultaneously recognizable and unique.
It is of course Space Dragons: Cosmic Survivors by @vicorva@mastodon.art !
Oh no, I forgot to pack my noise cancelling headset for the train commute :blobfoxsad:
At least I can test myself to some :blobfoxcofe_w_: and :blobcat_eats_croissant:
Sometimes it's confusing that adventure and fairy tale is the same word in Danish.
"Eventyr"
Why is it so fucking hard to get fantasy audiobooks without paying Amazon?
I'm looking for Priory of the Orange Tree by Samantha Shannon, and it's either Amazon, Apple ($30 for an audiobook?? O.o), or unavailable in Denmark.
