This is a wonderfully eclectic mix of tunes from psychedelic to electronic to some groovy flamenco, and a great exploration of what's happening across the world of faircamp powered sites.
Well worth a listen, I discovered some new favourite tunes as well!
Surely I've got all the soft synths I could ever need at this point? What would I gain from getting another one?
They're all the same, aren't they really? You've got fm, subtractive etc, some emulate hardware and stuff, I know, but in their respective categories, they all do basically the same stuff, the new ones sound the same as the old ones? I don't really hear that much difference myself. They all sound... synthy.
What is so compelling about Zebra 3 that someone would fork out 249 EUR?
Seeing this fantastic art, I was reminded that I read 2061: Odyssey Three a long time ago, and the only thing I really remember is that HAL and Dave Bowman's ghost live together inside a monolith for some reason. Which I think would be a great sitcom wirh HAL passive aggressively winding up Dave all the time.

Is it possible to have a static webpage, that can be queried by an external site to return JSON data?
Perhaps it would mean including some javascript in the html.
All I really want to know is, is it possible?
(I know almost nothing about json or javascript and can't find anything that answers this online)
I have terrible astigmatism and, consequently, really odd prescription glasses. If someone else puts them on, they stagger about like they are seasick.
Even when wearing my glasses, it's still pretty bad.
But, I just discovered, that if I press on my left temple in a specific place while wearing my glasses, my vision suddenly improves massively, and becomes much sharper, especially for reading.
I don't know what to make of this.
This post, shared by elsemusic above, was really useful in working out the required tags.
It also mentions oEmbed, which I haven't looked into yet. I'm wondering if other clients or the mastodon app can show embeds using an alternative method. But I don't use them myself, so not sure if they show embedded players at all.

There are only 2 essential tags that go in the which are

The only thing that needs replacing for each track, is the path to the embed url in the first tag. Maybe that's possible? But I'm not sure myself.
Apologies, I was going to edit my post there but somehow deleted it.
It said, thinking about how many generations back in time the past is... if we take a human lifetime to be 70 years then say 2000 BC, would only be 57 lifetimes. So not that long ago when framed that way.
