@afilina I ended up opening a support ticket with twilio to get all my data deleted, of course twilio owns authy so I had to recover that and get that deleted too. I hope they reply swiftly, they still had to email me weekly for a month to be super sure I wanted it all gone 🙃

@tvbeek I love doing this but then I also did it for my personal projects so that if I forget to set a remote URL I can't commit because the email address is missing and so I can't ever cross the streams accidentally

@loicfaugeron@phpc.social there's a good chance your service sends emails anyway so keeping it simple is probably helpful, at least at an early stage. I have seen that single sign on with Google or GitHub is all the rage these days but as others have said, now you're trusting multiple parties to guarantee users can log in

@jclermont@phpc.social have you considered using app()->runningUnitTests() instead of using config to check the env? Or using ! app()->isProduction() if you have a staging area

@jclermont@phpc.social has laravel ever removed something? I feel like there are so many random parts of it barely documented that they're practically compelled to keep every last method they support haha. Personally I like the slight extra readability rather than having to parse the equals in my tired brain but I guess the joy of laravel is there are too many ways of doing any one thing

@paulshryock@phpc.social as far as I'm aware, Claude is the only one that has a blockable GitHub account. The others don't have a distinct account and are more integrated into GitHub, definitely a weird situation
