@futurebird@sauropods.win For all the "think of the children", youtube is terribly hostile to older folks too. Well, everybody really, but young folks and elderly seem especially susceptible.

@futurebird@sauropods.win @secretsloth@mastodon.art Yeah, my second thought was how it could be done without, but that's much more difficult and still less effective at directly answering the question without some guessing. Still, not a huge fan. My current best idea is to have a maze between two areas they care about with a straight section in the middle of the correct path. The straight section can be swapped out with a longer connecting piece, so the correct turns don't change but the distance does, and seeing if that causes any observable hesitation.

All it would have taken is a "we weren't aware, we'll look into it." followed by an "we want to end any formal or informal relationship with DHH on account of him sucking." But they haven't done that. That, to me, says a lot about the people behind framework.

They choose to associate with him, and he shouts out their hardware. They also think that it's okay to work with white supremacists in the name of a "big tent". This is rather simple math.

But other people noticed, brought it up, and they sure cared to do everything but denounce any association with him, continue to send him laptops, and explicitly include his politics in their "big tent".
