My dermatologist replied to a message two seconds before he was out the door. By phone. Love the man. He is giving me a different antibiotic, since IV doxy is something I made up in my head haha (not really but I'd have to go to an infusion center every day or a hospital).

The contact dermatitis is still causing me some issues, but I'm titrating off steroid cream and though my face burned earlier because of a flare up, it's back to "normal" now, thanks to me just leaving it the fuck alone and not putting any more meds (non-steroid) on it.

We let Cass go today. She was given like a gallon of Churu, two food bowls full of treats, cheeez wiz, and a Cadbury Egg. I told the vet that if I'd given her a Big Mac she would have eaten it.
She went easy and the vet was INCREDIBLE. I'm so grateful for those folks. I know she's feeling better now, a full belly and no pain. It was time and as much as it rips me apart, I know it was the right thing.
I'm heartbroken but also relieved for her.

1. On Monday, the contractors start renovating the bathrooms. Also on Monday, the glass guy is coming to quote us for new screens. AND someone is coming to look at the fence.
2. Tomorrow I'm going back to the dermatologist and hopefully he can give me another antibiotic that will actually get rid of this contact dermatitis. Someone is also coming to look at the fence tomorrow.
3. I caught up on my March reading and will finish April's reading early.
I'm going to eat a sandwich and read The Great Gatsby.
It's a non-stop thrill-ride over here.

It took us three hours to get to the doctor today, and I barely made it before they closed. The doc still saw me because he is THE BEST. Like the absolute GOAT.
