After spending 12 hours reading up on mail servers and setting everything up—from TLS and Caddy to SPF, DKIM, DMARC, and the reverse DNS entry—it feels really good to be able to receive and send emails with lots of PASS entries and a verified DKIM signature in the mail header!</p><p>Finally, I have my own mail server. I've only been putting it off for a few years hehe :blobcatgiggle: </p><p><a href="https://social.tchncs.de/tags/did" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>did</span></a> <a href="https://social.tchncs.de/tags/didit" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>didit</span></a> <a href="https://social.tchncs.de/tags/DigitalIndepence" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>DigitalIndepence</span></a> <a href="https://social.tchncs.de/tags/mailserver" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>mailserver</span></a> <a href="https://social.tchncs.de/tags/SelfHosting" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>SelfHosting</span></a></p> @lukasrotermund@social.tchncs.de what do you use for it? I’ve tried docker-mailserver to near success (just need to sort the DKIM)

Does anyone have any recommendations on how I can do this. I run NGINX Proxy Manager and anticipate this is probably the best option but would value any suggestions. @rowens@mastodonapp.uk If you don’t wanna open ports up, maybe a Cloudflare Tunnel could be an option

I'm aware of MinIO, but that seems a little too corporate for my use of: running in a VM on an old mini PC with no raid for use with a few selfhosted apps. Other suggestions welcome.</p><p><a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/selfHosting" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>selfHosting</span></a> <span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://fedigroups.social/@homelab" class="u-url mention">@<span>homelab</span></a></span></p> Main driver for this is an easy export of my RYOT data as S3 is the only type supported (barring full database export)
