Light post base installation complete. Now I just have to wait a week or so for this to dry so next weekend I get to erect a 16 foot light post.
It’s sad seeing those miles to earth shrink and miles to the moon increase. It’s sad that trump and musk have hindered the whole Artemis program. This has been super exciting!

We’re tempted to sell our first bus. We’re getting demand for larger capacity and the lack of AC really hampers the use of this bus in the summer. It would make an awesome conversion for someone!

Our garden is about double the size, if not more, than our garden last year. I’m ready!
I need to see if there’s a licensed Safe Place in the areas our buses serve. I’d love to be able to get Safe Place decals to put on the windows so at risk youth can get a ride to a Safe Place.
I have been a bus mechanic this week! Fixed a rattling bracket on an exhaust system, replaced a broken front-door vandal lock, got a leaking diesel tank to stop, replaced some non-compliant reflectors, added some emergency exit signage, and installed seats in our first bus since we now have $5 million in insurance and can carry more than 15 passengers.
Apparently September 19th is turning into a popular wedding date. We’ve had like 4 inquiries over the last day asking about availability on that date. At this point, it’s whoever pays their retainer first.
As with all projects doesn’t matter how many times I calculate what I need I always end up short…

I was told we would have 70+ MPH winds, tornados, and large hail. Instead, we had a thunderstorm.
