@lynnesbian i have very similar fond memories of contributing to opentofu / openbao
my changes are insignificant, fixing bugs in niche areas. but those bugs are gone now. that's gonna save a lot of time and sanity, if it hasn't already. // 🦋

@leftpaddotpy even some of the smallest models (that I can run on my own computer!) are extremely good refactor engines in comparison to like... AST manipulation or a bunch of futzing with regexes

@cadey SES or I think Purelymail is chill with transactional stuff if you're not spamming newsletters
(Purelymail is also just SES in a trenchcoat)

@aura @eamon for about $40 a piece i can easily recommend the Wio Tracker L1 Pro, or, if weather sealing is a concern, the SenseCap T1000-E for Meshtastic with the caveat that it can't talk to older SX1272-based devices (but other clients rebroadcasting your message from T1000-E → SX1262 → SX1272 and the reverse path works)
there's also RakWireless stuff that looks nice but i haven't found good EU resellers, probably easier to get in the US but also probably more expensive
or i guess for the cheapest option there's always Heltec V3 devkits but I can't in good conscience recommend an ESP32-based device for portable use (they're too power hungry)
