Wow! Duke totally choked on that last sequence. I don't really like either team, but that was a helluva finish.
I am rooting for Illinois in the final four!
Went to see Max Creek last night as they celebrated their 55th anniversary as a band. An amazing milestone and one that I have been along for the ride for (gulp) 43 of those years. They still brought the goods, and pulled out some amazing rarities from the past.
For me, one of the most special moments was when they performed the Steve Goodman classic, City Of New Orleans, which is best known from Arlo Guthrie's cover version. This was a song that they dropped in the early 80s and almost never revisit, so I was blessed to be there for it last night.
After, John Rider talked about the first year of the band when they played and rehearsed at the Mapleview Ballroom in Washington MA. Arlo and his band and friends would have big spaghetti dinners on Sunday nights and the young Max Creek would be the house band for these gatherings. A very special and emotional night for all who were there!

@Trilobyter Thank you for taking the time to answer questions!
What kind of cameras are the astronauts using and are they actually holding the cameras or are the cameras mounted outside and remotely controlled?

@MamaLake I was very lucky... When I was about ten or eleven, my Mom purchased a set of World Book encyclopedias for me and my siblings. While having them in the house was a great convenience for school work, I spent so many hours just exploring those books. I explored and learned about so many different things, just for the sheer joy of learning. What a wonderful gift that was. It is something we take for granted now that so much information is a mouse click away.

@j@janerationx.social They ended up giving up two runs in the top of the tenth, but the first run scored on a single for the first batter as soon as the inning started.
And again they were close to coming back in the bottom frame. A really good relay throw on Soto's double nailed Lindor at the plate, which would have tied the game.

@wila Thank you! I do have that change applied to my system, but that just fixes the UI, not the content bloat. I want to be able to easily add/remove the menu content to show only the options I need.

@magpieluvseeds@mastodon.social I have not been, but I share that morbid curiosity. The more I have become interested in the assassination, the more I feel drawn to visiting the site.
