#AppleWatch owners: is there a way to play audio directly on an #Apple Watch? I sleep w/iPhone by my bed, but want to change that. I often play Calm sleep stories or similar on my iPhone if I'm having trouble sleeping, so I need another way to play them. I don't own a HomePod or Bluetooth speaker.

@mathowie@xoxo.zone I would pay good money for an ad-free, unbiased Olympics broadcast. Bonus points if they take the downtime between runs or whatever to explain the sport in more detail, explain why a curling shot was difficult, etc.

Is there a word for the type of sorting where “A …”, “An… “, “The… ” are ignored from the beginning of text when doing the sort?

Both dealers were XYZ Toyota (owned by the same corporation) in towns beginning with R.

Went to my appointment and they said I didn’t have an appointment. I went through my email and found I’d booked the appointment at the other town.

Nearly 3 hours and 150+ miles away.

Anyone have experience transferring a domain with #Fastmail email to #Cloudflare?

The domain is registered with Hover and uses Fastmail's name servers.

If I transfer the domain to Cloudflare, I am required to use their name servers.

Fastmail has a doc re: setting up MX records on Cloudflare, but I'm concerned w/the sequence/timing of steps, especially considering transfers from Hover take a week.

I feel like the minor savings of transferring to Cloudflare may not be worth the headache. #DNS

@drdrang@fosstodon.org this same exact thing, with the same "resolution," happened to me sometime in the past month. Super annoying to try to explain to people in separate threads because a group thread isn't working.

I guess that’s my question: if I have a random audio track that I own, do I need to add it to Apple Music in order to play it from my Apple Watch? And does the audio come out of the watch or does it come out of the phone? My iPhone will be in a different room, so I would need it to play from the watch.

So, something like this?

1. Follow the Cloudflare "Change your nameservers (full setup) document

2. Follow the Fastmail "Adding MX records to Cloudflare" document

3. Make sure everything is working, which is really just email, as I don't have any web hosting or anything (edit: also calendar and contacts, but that's part of Fastmail setup)

4. At some point in the future, transfer domain from Hover to Cloudflare
