The King In Yellow's cousin's gay uncle in law. Used to be a cartoon villain.
Now wears purple and is way too fabulous for Dunwyn... or Dunwich!
Iä Iä and some such~

@chaoticneutral@dice.camp I think it really depends on the use case. For your own private games you can use whatever you find useful. It's an area where you most likely wouldn't actually hire an artist to make NPC portraits for every session you run. You aren't "stealing" revenue from anyone there and the benefit for the game can be great. Same with little idea seeds to spark narratives. That said, it becomes more problematic as soon as you want to create a "product" to sell to people.

@chaoticneutral@dice.camp Ultimately I'd discuss it with my group. If they aren't fundamentally opposed, go for it. Its use isn't worth getting into a fight with people however. People and relations are more important than a tool after all.

@chaoticneutral@dice.camp Yeah that's something anyone has to decide for themselves without peer pressure. To just label the tech in general as evil or bad... or fantastic and good is highly reductive and also useless. It's so much more multifaceted than that. Yet people just love to "take a side" and feel righteous. 😅 Plus... it exists. The genie is out of the bottle, the toothpaste won't go back into the tube. To just ignore it would not do anyone any good, as would becoming dependent on it be.

If anyone can read this, would you be so kind and send a quick reply.
Somehow my instance got borked in mysterious ways and the timeline is stuck. 😅

Thank you! 😘
