Talking heads keep insisting the Democratic Party has to tell voters that they stand for something other than just being "anti-Trump" or "not Republicans." That's nice & all but my standards are so freaking low. I vote for the party that isn't constantly trying to find ways to kill me. And for better or worse that's Dems. 🤷♀️

I swear there are 2 elves, I feel it must be 2, who live under my bed, & screw with me nearly every night by tangling my computer & charging cords together, no matter how carefully I arrange them, 9 times out of 10 when I put my devices away for the night THE CORDS ARE ALL AROUND EACH OTHER & EVERY WHICH WAY in an impossible manner & I just don't get it. It must be 2 elves, & I don't know why they're so pissed off at me, I'd leave, I don't know, honey or something for them under the bed but that would draw ants & I hate ants.
I guess buying the catheters I need out of pocket online is no longer feasible, last time I ordered they were $132, now they've jumped to $199. That's just too much to sustain. 😞 I wish I knew how to get my so-called medical supplier to f**king respond & fill an order for me, why do they exist if they can't even do that?
Their website is just a useless portal, no way to order supplies online like my old provider, no info even on what supplies they carry. (Phone support doesn't know, either.)
You message them through the Web portal, you get a warning telling you wait times are long so call them on the phone instead. I sent a message that went a month without a reply.
You try to call them on the phone, you tell them the department you need (urology), they put you on hold for hours until the workday ends, then they hang up on you. Not feasible to wait on the phone for hours every f**king day in hopes somebody picks up.
If somebody actually answers 😲 you say hello, urology?--they say sorry, that's not their department so they can't help, then hang up because it's the end of the workday. (Incidentally, this was when my online message FINALLY got an answer...to say, "Looks like you got us on the phone! Please contact us that way in the future as our site is too backed up, thanks!")
If your doctor finally gets an order to them they reject it & claim they couldn't get in touch with her. If she tries again they reject it & claim she didn't sign in the right place. If she signs again, they reject it & again claim no contact or you just never hear back.
No call reminders to refill orders like my old supplier. No nothing.

Tried a new urologist who said he could fill my order with a different provider...but nope. Back to J&B...still no update. 😞
I left a bad review on Google. Oh, THEN they say, please get in touch...yeah, how? YOU NEVER F**KING ANSWER.

So apparently...this was a legit e-mail. 😒 I just got a "friendly reminder" that the bill is due in like 3 days. And when I logged in, in my payment history, NOW there's a notice saying my payment from early March was indeed rejected.
Thing is...
Why did the e-mail say "customer" and not my dad's name? (Even this friendly reminder had his name.)
Why was the issue not reflected anywhere on the website itself when I logged in? I don't think I checked the payment history, but it said NO bill was due, there was no notice to correct the issue, nothing.
And why is the bill I just got like $15 less than the rejected one? Previously it was $199, now it's...$184? Huh?
What is all this dodgy mess? And will they just reject it again & cut off our gas? Although I've now paid them twice?

So Trump is threatening to send ICE agents to airports, I'm assuming (because I can't think of any other reason) to cow Dems into approving funding for ICE. Yet how can we possibly afford to put this extra work on ICE, when we apparently can't afford to fund them...? 🤔

Generator guy finally showed up. A frozen filter, water/moisture got in it somehow? No info on how to prevent such a thing from occurring again. If something as simple as a bit of moisture getting in it can make a generator simply not work in an emergency...then WTF is the point of a generator??
The Generac ad shows them in freaking HURRICANE environments, for crying out loud. And of course people rely on them in icy environments! So how the hell do you keep them working & how do you even know whether they'll be up for it when needed? I've done my best to keep snow away from the vents all winter & to sweep the top (harder to do now with my stupid wrist), I never bother opening it up because neither of us knows a thing about how a generator works & they gave us NO info on self-maintenance (I only read about clearing the vents online, & the user manual may as well be in Mandarin), but the light has been GREEN (good to go) ALL WINTER. If the dumb thing will say it's ready for use all winter only to die the moment it's needed...IN THE MIDDLE OF A STORM, IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT...how do you deal with that?
We're an elderly woman with arthritis & health/mobility issues, & an older out-of-shape woman with a freaking broken wrist, & we're both mechanically challenged, AND our house is surrounded by +3ft snow & ice (I'm usually the one who shovels, poorly, yet now I can't do it at all). What are people like us supposed to do to maintain a generator??

Got a note on each new Tumblr entry I made today. Instead of the stupid f**king "Hey, you open for commissions?--PM me!" spam I always get, it's somebody saying they want to contact me about my account but they can't message me. I check, they're not following me--or anyone. Yeah...go away, bot. Not falling for that.
Anyway in their otherwise legit-looking archive (I expected a barrage of porn, was surprised not to find it) I found an image I liked from another user & reblogged, then checked a similar post from yet another user &...I f**king hate this from Tumblr. First the porn bots, then the commission scammers, now this trash. I'm no good at such things but I'm fairly certain this is AI, & I was promptly recommended similar blogs full of similar images that look great at first but don't stand up to scrutiny.

But also why the mismatched balconies, with their wonky ironwork?
Why does one window have a keystone while the others don't?
Why the shoddy-looking brickwork everywhere?

It wouldn't be so infuriating if users just used AI tags. Many of us don't want to reblog fake stuff. But nope, no such tags, & this trash gets reblogged hundreds of times while somebody who tries to put actual work into things (like me, at least before my broken wrist) gets nothing--no likes, no reblogs, no comments aside from spam. People think this is real. Nothing says otherwise. 😠 I'd hate finding that a repost of mine isn't even real--I shouldn't have to scour every "photo" skeptically.
