being someone who has been dealing with chronic depression most of my life, a lot of the time my emotions can be a bit muted, but in summer when the heatwaves come in and the nights are too sticky to sleep well i get this weird sense of hypomania, not feeling positively or negatively but generally having all sorts of hyperspecific feelings I can't quite pin down bubbling up. anyway i finished the first baru cormorant book today that shit sure is fucked up huh.

i have been tempted to reread homestuck because it's been almost a decade now, and i have a better grasp now on interpersonal relationships and gnostic religion so it'd be interesting to see what I'd missed previously.
