apparently I'm playing my first show next saturday at a local queer art market, which is cool except I asked about it like 2 months ago, didn't hear that I was going to be playing until like yesterday, and I'm in a different state with no guitar until 2 days before the show

trying to put tumbleweed on this shitty “gayming pc” I got for $50 years ago and the installer just…… won’t load. performs hardware checks, TTY pops up saying it’s loading modules and then just…. I guess stops outputting video? the computer doesn’t power off, it just… goes black and does nothing. trying to see if there’s a “secure boot” in the bios menu but this old asus motherboard doesn’t seem to even have an entry for it.
not really finding a lot online either, mostly people talking about it failing partway through the install or not registering the usb stick at all. strange, and I’m also over it
