Every talented vendor I talked to has a Facebook page, however reluctantly. Not one of them has their own website— not even a Carrd page. They aren't on Etsy. They aren't here in the fediverse. They're not anywhere I can visit to see their work online. The best I could do is collect phone numbers and hope I remember who's who and making what for whom when I have a reason to call around.

The weapons, armor, attire, tools, and training of samurai women are often left out of historical records and references, which imply these things were relevant only to men. For the same reason, there's a note currently on Wikipedia's "Homosexuality in Japan" page saying, "This article is missing information about female homosexuality in historical Japan." @gerrymcgovern@mastodon.green

@nicol @HauntedOwlbear @dianea @bevangelist I didn't know that! @mikelittle Wordpress was my favorite platform or internet service for almost ten years. The changes that happened between then and now were heartbreaking, but those were obviously a result of others' decisions. I would you to know I've been grateful for the good parts through the years.

@david_castleton was 'The Vampyre' published earlier than 'Carmilla'? I thought I'd read that Polidori's story was passed around in literary groups, inspiring other stories, but wasn't published until much later. I'm not sure where I read that.... @croyle

In the current version, to go out, I've corrected the typos that are in the above screenshots.

Changes made to "Growing Mold of You" after its submission to the game jam include:

• coding fixes for the small (phone) screens,
• more character sprites and animations,
• an additional character graphic, and
• about 500 new words for the story.

New scenes show the main characters interacting.

I have work to do on the concluding lines. The new version will be made available after that.
