I cannot remember what species of orchid this is, but I can tell you that it was a challenge to take any kind of picture of it considering the orchid has flowers about as large as a grain of sand

I understand that different people react differently to their morbidities, but fuck, it's really fucking hard to look at an older adult blaming everything on ADHD and not think "are you under the impression I'm enjoying mine?"
me, looking at the stack of pillows someone brought over: I need to get my scent on these. pile them around me like a nest and cover it with a blanket. yes.

there's a certain je ne sais quoi about experiencing your first heartbreak at 43. the reason you sais quoi is because it's BULLSHIT
well, on the plus side, I found the lens that'd gone missing (carefully stowed away with my CANON FILM CAMERA, because that is of course where you store your NIKON MOUNT TOKINA LENS FOR YOUR DIGITAL CAMERA), but now we're missing the other SD card - and I *never* leave those out of the camera. either they're in the camera or they're in the card reader, and it is neither. yaaaay
crayons are on sale
ow. oh my fucking Christ ow. four hours

my therapist has been big on teaching me how to feel emotion without acting on emotion. I think I've just entered the LSAT of that principle.

in a just world I'd be able to preemptively apologize for myself
Janeway's response here is very much what mine would be: we have entered the 'find out' phase of testing

@AmeliasBrain@mstdn.ca I’d have been fine if not for the location. it turns out the neck is extremely sensitive and having many needles repeatedly dragged across it is a Big Ow

THE UNIVERSE DEEP-DICKS YOUR SOUL UNTIL ART COMES OUT.

watching the scene with Benedick and Beatrice where she asks him to kill Claudio wrings my heart every time - because he believes her.
