Had a burst of nostalgia and dug my Playstation 2 out of the attic. Sudden urge to play Gran Turismo 4's legendary Mission 34 again.
The entire system is dying 😭 memory cards, the disc drive, general system crashes I haven't figured out yet...
Finally got access to a blood test after 6 months of trying! Took way too long but it was worth it. Completely validated months of testing, and my hrt regimen is safe for the rest of my life now 💖
Main issue with the new job is that, given it's a day-rate contractor role, taking days off is a very binary choice. I know exactly how much money I lose every time, and it's already eating into things like taking time off for an upcoming surgery.
But now that things are a bit more financially stable, I'd love to travel a bit this year. Budget would be super limited, and I'd try to limit it to weekend breaks because of the time-off issue. Maybe visit some European cities I've never been to?
