That track aipac site opened my eyes to such a degree in the last 12 hours. I knew there was corruption at the state level as well, but to think that all those senators we are supposed to call directly receive money from Israel lobby just shook me to my core. The “call your senators” crowd has always annoyed me, but even more so now given what we know. Do you really think a senator who actively receives money from the Israel lobby will decry the Israeli assault on Iran in Congress because you gave them a strongly worded phone call? So like, kinda dark and it kinda sickens me to admit this but when I was a youth 8-13 years old I used to kill insects unnecessarily. Like worms and grasshoppers and such. Looking back it kind of sickens me…why did I do that? They weren’t harming me at all. That doesn’t exactly seem normal. Now I’ve never ended the existence of any mammal or amphibian. That always seemed like complete psycho behavior to me, but grasshoppers didn’t deserve it either. Yellowjackets I will still kill if I can though lol Fuck yellowjackets (protect the bumblebees tho they’re cute) even tho the first time I was EVER stung it was a bumblebee I do not hold it against them unlike the yellowjackets which have stung me NO reason.
So when the No Kings protest inevitably accomplishes nothing like they always do can we finally agree that protesting doesn’t work in the age of p3do authoritarianism and finally organize a nationwide #GeneralStrike? #UsPol
