@Remittancegirl@mstdn.social wow, folding a sail is easy in comparison!
@Remittancegirl@mstdn.social I tuned to it after I arrived home from the airport; only to find out my oldskool cable TV is faster than neighbour's Internet connection or whatever they use.

OS/400 can do similar things from the beginning natively, you can SELECT * FROM anytextfile in a kind of database-first design (with variable length records!)

@netopwibby not sure if it is that good. It just defers the problem to the definitions of "intrinsic" and "extrinsic"

Wow #signal @signalapp@mastodon.world
first a forced desktop client update, then forced reconnect (delete local data, transfer from mobile) and then data loss (missing messages)!
Fortunately I use it only for 5 contacts with total ~20 messages, but this is a total disaster to me.
On my way to bid a final goodbye to my old friend @kravietz@agora.echelon.pl
See you in 127.0.0.1 one day
@Walrus@toot.wales unfortunately, for @kravietz@agora.echelon.pl this was it. He passed away. Terribly sad.
@Remittancegirl@mstdn.social I find this very helpful! Need to try once back home. My solution to this problem was to tuck them in a bag and suck the air out

:) #hashtagrequest@senficon@ohai.social

@enting@wandering.shop what kind of “operations” experience do you have? The company I have in mind is based in Germany but they have significant presence in the United States (subsidiaries)
