@tinx @k9mail @thunderbird @fdroidorg k-9 will continue to get updates (it'll be TB for Android with a different theme, essentially). We will provide a mechanism for folks to move over to TB for Android. But that will be optional. Either way, you'll get updates. (Source: I'm the person who runs both projects).

@hrw @k9mail @thunderbird @fdroidorg still has the same people working on it. Just now with more resources and help.

@RealGene @k9mail @thunderbird @fdroidorg yup. Fixing that on desktop, we have been hard at work fixing the UX and interface of TB on desktop (it's slow going due to technical debt of 20 years). For K-9, though, it's all about updating to Material 3 and doing other things to make it look like a modern Android app. But we aren't really changing much UX. Besides a few quality of life things, like not having to scroll to bottom of email to see there is an attachment.

@ditol @hrw @k9mail @thunderbird @fdroidorg which part of the app are you looking at? Just curious, as I can't think of where we've relaxed the density. If we've made spacing worse in an area we can look at a more dense layout for that section of the app. Let me know where you think it's worse and I'll take a look.
