Ugh… I really wish OER would get more attention

I'm also curious to know how people keep up with learning. I can't remember the last time I read an article because it sounded interesting. I was thinking of scheduling a couple hours a week for "learning time" next to my "focus time" blocks. Any experiences or suggestions with similar strategies? #academia #academicchatter #learning

@asayakkara@mas.to I guess both. Mostly peer-reviewed articles actually. I even have an NCBI alert for new articles for relevant topics that drops in my inbox, but just delete them because they always show up at very inconvenient times 🤷‍♀️

This week in academia has been extremely busy yet enjoyable! I participated in a panel discussion, and today I had the privilege of attending a thesis defense as a member of the assessment committee.

Now, it's time to regain focus and get some actual work done.
