New to #Mastodon? Just think about it as "instant public email" - like email you use the full address (including the @ domain name/instance) when contacting somebody else, you can communicate with other domains/instances from any other (bar blocklists/spamlists) and you could just have one email account/Mastodon account in the world or multiple dependent on preference (work, social, special interests etc).

Now just to decide if the "new project" should be written in PHP using Slim (which I know), PHP using Symfony/Laravel (neither of which I know well and dislike Laravel), Node.js (which I don't know) or something else. Learning something new would be good, but I also want to get the project done "this year".
Just having to up the memory of my "borrowed from my wife" desktop Windows machine to try and do some development work and putting my old-failed machines RAM in it worked until the last stick.. The stick I kept testing my old machine with when it had failed and refused to get beyond POST...
Please don't say a failed stick of RAM is the cause of over a week of stress.
All of yesterday (and most of the previous day), my Google Pixel 6a mobile phone kept randomly rebooting (sometimes without interaction). So I ordered a replacement Pixel 10a which arrived at 10.30am this morning. My old phone has operated without any issues whatsoever since 9.30am...
