My brother and his fiancé are a two-person game studio - they have published the demo for their new indie game, Monk Took Book on Indie Game Hub and it's on Steam for Women's Day sale. Check out the video at https://youtu.be/DQZsA2pevWg?si=gF5ERyVKWdPx6wAE and the demo on Steam at https://store.steampowered.com/app/4255310/Monk_Took_Book_Demo/

Receiving a lot of general info@ and other mail for both Endless and the GNOME Foundation, I am continually amazed by how many "Investment opportunity in Endless" and "Offer to acquire the GNOME Foundation" kind of mails I get. What is even happening here? If your due diligence process involves cold e-mailing people and not even checking if you're trying to buy a nonprofit, you're not an even slightly credible investor. Who are these mails for?!
@gnome@floss.social is looking for volunteers interested in serving as the Foundation's Treasurer.
If you're familiar with accounting and would like to support GNOME - chairing our finance committee, helping with reporting to the board, and keeping finance processes running smoothly - get in touch!
(Officers and Directors are different roles - we often appoint Officers from the board but they can also be external. If you're considering standing for the board, it's a great way to gain relevant experience.)

@ebassi Seasoned content marketing experts, every one of them. Highly invaluable.
Hey folks, looking for a contractor who would be able to work with @EndlessOS@floss.social for a few weeks to prototype something in Python GTK4/Adwaita. Part time / flexible hours / etc welcome. Drop me a message if of interest.
UK train geeks. Caledonian Sleeper. Where does the lowland sleeper divide? Carstairs or sooner? Trying to get to Edinburgh but it's full. If I get Glasgow can I move from berth to a seat for the last 30 mins?

@contrarian @gnome People take part for personal development/experience, because their employer wishes to support GNOME (subject to bylaws restrictions on undue corporate influence), because they are able to spare time to support GNOME's mission, or a combination. (It's all three for me.)
Soliciting applications doesn't equate to there being nobody within the community capable/willing to do the work, we just need to look for them - hence the need to make some kind of communication... :)
