@james@bne.social "down 50 minutes from 20 years ago". That's a lot, all things considered. I suspect personal music streaming is really killing the generic music stations, and talk stations tend to have smaller TSLs to start with.

@james@bne.social I'd need to see if I still have some Australian stats but from memory talk stations like ABC Brisbane had a far smaller time spent listening than music stations like MMM. I suspect some of this was the difference between people just turning on to hear some news, compared to people who might leave it on as background music across the day.
