@kevan@said.social I love healthcare. First and foremost, it attracts quirky folks who are mission driven. It’s nice to feel we are (hopefully) making a difference.
Second, it is challenging and complex. The complexities of data in your average healthcare system would boggle your mind. The data structures alone are crazy.
Third, it’s rewarding because it rewards domain knowledge and clinical expertise. That “niche” effect is nice for your career because the domain knowledge is accumulative.
