When people put "irreconcilable differences" on their divorce proceedings, I imagine one of them walked in on the other doing something like this.

I think you could fix a lot of Ad Astra in a fan edit.
- Get rid of the voice over.
- Make him get on the Cepheus before engine ignition.
- Mute the on-the-nose dialogue between son and dad ("you have to let me go"). They can still say it, we just don't hear it because space.
- Rm the mad shockwave from the explosion at the end.
- Somehow make the antimatter pulses directed (like a laser) instead of omnidirectional.
- End it on him looking up in the coffeeshop, but before cutting to Liv Tyler.

Does O'Brien roll up his sleeves, or does he have a special short-sleeved uniform? #ds9
