It is a nice seires, rarely memorable to me but fun to read from time to time. The drawing style is pretty good, the author is very skilled imo. Storywise, it got interesting when they introduced Maeda, the initial contrasts between her and Ruri are my favorite part up to now. In general, I think the manga gets interesting when Ruri has issues with her schoolmates (and to a lesser extent when she exhibits dragon traits), otherwise it feels a bit empty

@apc@starside.social sorry I'm going to be very unoriginal and old fashioned here, but Frieza is archetypical. Mind you I'm talking about the character as it appears in the original Dragon Ball, not in any sequel. Two-dimensional yes, but that's Evil for you. I wouldn't want all villains to be like him, but he's perfect.

Reflection brought to you by: I tried Pokémon Colors, a fun hack where types are based on the colors of the pokemons themselves (eg: Skitty is white and pink so its type is normal/psychic; Charmender is fire/ground; etc).
Problem is the developer (for reasons beyond my understanding) decided to increase the levels of trained pokemons, so you either spend *a lot* of time grinding or use the hundreds of rare candy you have. I think I'm gonna drop it as I don't like either option

It took my around 16 hours to finish it, and with hindsight I could probably to it in ca 12 I believe.* I really liked it being short, as I nowadays struggle completing the main pkmn games, even when I like them (sorry, Pokémon Moon, I'll get back to you). Otoh, I felt disappointed that I did not get to explore more of that world, which looked so mysterious; but thinking about it right now, the ending makes sense, there's no point in seeing more, it'd be fun perhaps, but it doesn't matter for the plot -and this game really is plot drive. So, yeah, go check it out!
*it exists also an alternate ending, but the creators themselves say it's hard to get, so I'm not gonna try

I've finally put myself in the headspace to start reading Ruri Dragon and I think I kinda get why people liked it so much
Started watching season 2 of #Hamefura tonight!. Fun passage this one, remembering us that she is not from that world

Drama Queen on a roll again, the last two chapters had really nice stuff! Both the story and the art
Gueltan general saying their army is having troubles in war because their speciality is guerrilla warfare... I find it hard to believe coming from people who are meeting in this base
I liked how this chapter treats the "bigot" guy, how his friends push back a little bit but also support him inquiring in a healthy way. They don't isolate him and they are able to deescalate his concerns.
