PrestelPirate

I am a pirate, in many ways. Politically, digitally, and - after a memorable run-in with HM Coastguard many years ago - legally.

After many years windsurfing and dinghy sailing, I finally have a proper pirate ship of my own.

So I shall be sharing some of my adventures on her ;)

Happy to answer any questions about nautical hate crimes (or about sailing boats/piracy in general).

Another HOPE conference wrapped, and what a great one. Thanks to everyone involved for making it so good, especially with the move to the new premises.

Closely followed by "LIGHT THE WICKER MAN!"

Legends.

Enjoying live coverage of the solar eclipse and someone in the background screaming "DON'T MOVE TOWARDS THE LIGHT!"

@energisch_@troet.cafe Hahaha! I actually have a penant with my own colours, will get some pictures of it flying when she is underway.

Happy Zero Cool Day to all those who celebrate (which should be everyone!)

You can still get tickets to HOPE, but you need to be quick!

Sad to not be able to travel to the USA to be there in person, but definitely looking forward to the live streams and the chat, which is always great.

This is glorious.

And surely a bit of a coincidence that Karoline Leavitt has resigned 24 hours after finding out that Trump basically left her for dead on a plane he thought would be shot down?

Bit concerned that Trump's "executive assistant", Natalie Hart, looks an awful lot like his daughter.

Absolutely stunning.

And now to put on Jeff Wayne's "War of the Worlds" on high volume, make some Hemingway Specials, and watch the Perseids.
