Hi, It is time for a new #introduction. I am a German hobby #photographer who started in 2016. Everything I find interesting on my travels ends up in my image archive. The Iris Nebula (NGC 7023) during the June heatwave in northern Germany. This reflection nebula is located about 1,300 ly from Earth, where a bright star illuminates the surrounding dust. This image was created over 4 consecutive nights from Bortle 5 with a total exposure time of 5 h 21 m 30 s (643 x 30 s).
