@deprecated_ii@poa.st They made them all different so you could tell them apart. That's good character design.

@deprecated_ii@poa.st Reminds me of that kid who got his doctorate in material science inventing some groundbreaking material or whatever and then at the end of the news article it says he went to work in finance.

@deprecated_ii@poa.st You can do those things for now. Google would rather give you an AI answer and the people who answer questions won't live forever.

@deprecated_ii@poa.st Dunno what he's getting worked up about. Consumers are a shrinking market that will soon be replaced by AI anyway.

@vitalis@dirtyknight.life Weird. When I chased women with a sword it didn't go nearly this well.

Programmers got a 30% raise when they started using Claude, right?

Hey, I did that. I had no idea what I was doing at the time but I did solve the problem in the end. Good to know I'm fully up to date on best practices.

Oh boy I hope it works on linux. I haven't been able to open an archive since I switched over a decade ago.
Here's some #NostalgiaFriday for Fedi. I know we all had this game.

I'm doing ok, but I recently found out my employer is changing out the paper towel dispensers in the bathrooms to "save money."

You need to try to prompt-inject the AI that's going to read and summarize it for her

Damn, you were in way worse shape than me. I was in ketosis for a week and I lost 30lbs from my starting 160. I was stuck in the hospital for a week because they couldn't figure out how much insulin to give me. I cut my dose in half after I got out.

Playing around with the Draft workbench in #FreeCAD. The Array tools are a lot more versatile than the Multi Transform in Part Design. Some of the other draft tools seem like they'd be really useful for macros. It would have saved me a fair amount of time if I'd realized that before I manually created and modified all these sweeps.

@Tony@clew.lol @CozyNCD@nicecrew.digital @JollyR@nicecrew.digital Just be glad he didn't turn on the catspeak too. It inserts a 'y' in between every 'n' and 'a' in your posts. 😹

@IAMAL_PHARIUS@poa.st I wanted something I could mix epoxy in plus I was looking for an excuse to try out a couple ideas I had. Why buy a 10 cent disposable plastic cup when you can spend $2 and 3 hours in the workshop instead?

@mushroom_soup@poa.st They were flying at night. The military had stopped the test when issues were initially reported but when air traffic control reported that the plane had a visual fix on their destination they resumed, after which the plane crashed. The rest of the details are unknown.

I don't like grafiti but do something with it so it's more than just a flat, undecorated surface.

Do the Runescape method: minimum 1000 hours of busywork to max level.

I've been walking up to women, looking them in the eyes and giving them a firm handshake but it hasn't worked yet and now I have 3 restraining orders and I'm starting to think this doesn't actually work.
