@onepict@chaos.social @MadSci@focal.social @feditips@mstdn.social Yes, and that is true even of Twitter, Facebook, etc. Feditips has set itself up as a bit of a central authority on fediverse etiquette and explaining, so the original post seems a bit strident in saying people should NOT do something. I had shared this account as a useful one for my fellow #twittermigration folks. Now I am wondering if I made a mistake and took a side in a "fight"

@RecDiffs Re Merlin’s childhood Galliano memory. In that era there was a fad cocktail known as a Harvey Wallbanger that required it. Decades later as an adult I had one at a bar that for some reason had the liqueur on hand. Perhaps the bottle was left over from the 1970s. It’s some weird stuff.. The cocktail was merely okay.
