It looks like I never posted any final pics of that goldfish #plush I made like 2 years ago or something. Been thinking I should go back and revisit the pattern and make some cute little guys. I definitely need to rework the mouth area for future ones, but for attempt 1 he's great.

I did another Secret Santa art trade event thing! This time I got VGen user Proto_Gems, and did this of their character Odette.
Had quite a few false starts along the way, and though I'm curious what the alternate finish points would have been, I'm pretty happy with the fact I got to do some detailed line art and actually tried out some cel shading again. I am definitely *not* a cel shading wizard.
I just love how Jules is giving me this look like "excuse me, you are absolutely interrupting" when I wanted to take a video of him playing.
I fell off social media for the winter, apparently, but I did participate in VGen Secret Santa. This was the piece I did for Willow Whisp (who I don't think is on here, but on VGen: thewillowwhisp) of characters from her webcomic, Deity Management!

I've had my dang piranha model finished for like 4 months and I'm only now getting around to making a video to show him off.
Completed Piranha Vtuber model
Thinking about future projects. Still looking to make vtuber models but debating if I should make pre-made generics I can just sell forever (also VRChat compatible in that case) or do like OOAK adaptable with fully complete model but would probably be over $1k USD. Generics would probably be mostly furry, OOAK would be a mix of that and human. If anyone has thoughts LMK.
I do kinda hate that the time needed to do 3d stuff right means the result is expensive, heh.
One of those "no no no, she HAS to be drawn in this style" random ideas.
Apparently I possibly won't know 'til June if I got the convention table or not. Makes it harder to decide if I should go all out doing 3d digital work or be more con-focused and do cute merch things and prints. May just sit on it and see what I think by next week.
That is if I don't get horrendously distracted by something else by then, WOO
So I'm wanting to apply for a table at a con soonish, and Google's DNS for my websites may or may not be broken. 😐 Like other DNS is fine, and troubleshooting sites they recommend are like "nah Google thinks it's fine actually" except if you go to their DNS lookup proper it's like "nope, busted" so I'm just plain confused.
I may just hope that the people who look at portfolios don't change from default ISP DNS.
I think i need to get back into sketchbook doodling. Can't quite get a monster concept onto the page, and it's bothering me at this point.
Also my contract got extended another 6 months so I guess I don't have to worry about suddenly having to do a ton of freelance work to pay bills until March. I can keep up my chaotic nonsense if I've got nothing better to do, heck ya.
Apparently Jules can land on top of the microwave. This doesn't sound very impressive to start as they are devices with a flat top, until you realize that it's cabinet-mounted, so he's landing on the 2" that's sticking out at top.
And yet, I'd rather he land there than on the fridge where I can't reach him if he runs away like the utter goblin he is.
My cintiq is currently for some reason adding "rotate the canvas slightly" to every time I hit one of the physical buttons on it. Like can you not??
Hoping this is just a driver issue because that is fixable albeit annoying.
