shout out to my dad making me buy a Canada Savings Bond when I was 12 or something, with a $100 I would have preferred to spend on buying a GameCube or something, only for me to forget that it existed, then get a letter about it much much later, and be told now on the phone that it is worth a big $134, but because it's lost I will have to spend a non-refundable surety fee of $30 on it, plus fill out no less than 3 forms, and mail my shit back and forth to Ottawa
