Apparently I am nearing twenty years at my job and it's making me feel some kinda way (I can't possibly be that old, can I???)

As text completion continues to enshittify at a horrifying pace, I am finding I need to work on my accurate typing skills again.
Please share if you have a nice easy way to practice typing (like, games are nice, but only if they work on all the keys, not just a few)

In general it will be the poorest employees this affects, since they also sell an expensive, guaranteed space permit that no one making under $50k can afford. Those spaces sit half empty half the workday.
Employee parking passes should be scaled to how much one gets paid

(the football coach would have to pay $3500/month to park in that case lolol)
I was frustrated with the microsoft planner design options, and a colleague pointed out that the design options are based on the board title, so if you change the title until a design comes up that you like, you can choose the design and then change the title back. WEIRD BUT OK
only the first two designs seem to relate to word choice

@wim_v12e Funny how when they want to downplay environmental impact they measure water/energy use against a query/less than a token of use, but when they are hyping the tech they talk about using up millions of tokens at once

@mjibrower@social.vivaldi.net even the commuter lot - which for me would be a .5 mile walk - are $276/year.
They have an entire almost empty campus they could offer up for free parking (with a bus to get to the other two campuses) but it's just not a priority. It makes me so mad.
We have a bus system, but depending on where you live, it's just not possible to depend on that

@mjibrower@social.vivaldi.net There used to be a bunch of solids/gradients and then you could just SEARCH for things, this is so ridiculous. A huge step back in usability in every way

@jgobble @yiningkarlli I was wondering that too, but then I read it as if the characters were deaf and performing, and in that case having them mouth the words wouldn't really make sense (I've not noticed deaf folks regularly mouthing words when speaking in ASL, though I am sure some do and interpreters tend to)

@rishat It's one of those ones that gets rebranded a lot, but when I bought it it was "iClever Ergonomic Foldable Keyboard, BK06"

@arstechnica Senior devs could use this as an opportunity to push back and improve conditions for all.
But they won't.
