hey. wiggle your tail.

don't have one? we can help~
big or small, fluffy, scaly,
feathers are nice too,
whether coming in slowly
or bursting out, swishy, flicky,
helpful, snuggable,
mind of its own,

then we could look at
paws, wings, ears, a snoot,
but for now:

wiggle your tail 💚

snow leopard.

you know you've just transformed but you don't remember anything. things you think might be words just come out as mows.

paws, legs, tail. fur. stuff around you that might be clues if you knew what any of it meant.

kinda hungry though. should sort that out first...

So almost everyone has some kind of magical pattern, even if they aren't a witch.

And that's what bonds familiars to their witches, that certain patterns go together well.

So ours were so well matched that we bonded, even though you weren't a familiar. It's really rare! It's pretty cool.

Plus, you're cute as an owl, as well. ❤️

Bucket of 'toon paint.

It's like a magic trick, over your head it goes- but you just kinda vanish into it. Huh. Where'd you go?

Ah! Gasping for breath, splashing in the bucket, hi silly 'toon; aren't you just the cutest little fairy ferret now? Ooh yes you are... ✨

here, we see the cryptid

our camera is working just fine. the cryptid's shape is naturally blurry and uncertain, most likely to confuse any predators. its bright reflective eyes suggest excellent night vision

ah, we have been spotted. it's posting about us on the fediverse

It was labelled "badger potion", but you didn't actually expect it to turn you into a badger,
snout and stripes, claws and paws, smaller, fluffier...

and when the witch returns, you explain what happened-
"Well, there's no turning you back," they say. "You're a badger now~" 🦡

everything is light and warmth
until the smoke clears, and
senses return, telling you
that you're a fluffy squirrel,
and they're lots of squirrels,
tails and ears, disoriented,
words almost in unison,
"umm, I can explain~"

hmm, I'm sure I used to get more colds that came and went, rather than lingering for days and coughing for weeks

Hmm, quietly thinking about various projects I might like to help out or do, but I need to be good for a while :p boo
