Zuckerberg bought WhatsApp, Instagram - which were rival to Facebook. Since Pixelfed cannot be bought, so suspended the account.
How evil can one be. Big tech is big tech because of Monopoly.
But it doesn't matter. We've got Pixelfed. We love you. Don't be disheartened, we'll spread the words.

Every icon - the discover, the profile, direct message, etc. is better in the old one. Even look at Mastodon's icon on the right side. They're boxy, squarish, rectangular. Feels like it has a strong personality.

Signal supports upto 5 Desktops I guess, I read somewhere on their web. But no support for secondary phone or Android Tab yet and this is 2025.

Privacy option for with whom I want to share my DP and About too please. I know how the current system of Profile Sharing works but I want to be able to not share DP and about with some of my contacts and Groups. I'm sure all of us wants to have fine tuned control over our DP and About. Sharing Profile Name with everyone is Fine.

Apart from security and privacy. I think GrapheneOS is great for Digital Minimalism too. Graphene should include text based launcher like this one https://github.com/luantak/FokusLauncher
Most kids nowdays are addicted to YouTube shorts, etc. Since Graphene doesn't come with the Big Tech pre-intalled, it is a great choice for parent's who wants to give their kids a smartphone. The Pre-installed android devices are filled with Dark Patterns only.
Graphene should include 1. "Zen Mode" like feature.

And regarding Web App, I'm not much bothered by the fact that they deliberately dropped it, since my priority too is security & privacy. But it's a shame @signalapp@mastodon.world for not giving us Android tab support (as linked device).
