UPDATE: Good morning folks. We made some great progress the past few days but I'm getting worried as we draw closer to the deadline. Hi everyone, Friends, I apologize for being somewhat absent here the last few weeks. I'm not sure what has been happening to me exactly, but the best way I can describe it is that I sort of "checked out" mentally. Despite everyday life recently seeming to be falling into place for once, I just can't seem to handle being alone with my thoughts. I can't even seem to concentrate on Mastodon or even just surfing the web. Music has little grip on me either. Basically I've either been working, sleeping, or binging on the various Star Trek spinoffs that I've fell behind on for the last thirty years or so. Anyway.. my point is, I've allowed this burnout to consume me to such an extent that we are now in dire need to raise the remaining funds for October's rent in the next 24 hours. This month's goal is only $1,200.. I say "only" because in comparison to the previous few months, this is roughly 25% less than normal. It also will cover our massive electricity bill that we inadvertently allowed to balloon out of control while we were attending to other crises and desperately needs to be reduced, and car insurance so our policy isn't cancelled this weekend. It is my sincere wish that we can keep this momentum going despite my weird mental status lately, and maybe go a month or two without begposting. I can promise you I look forward to that happening as much as you probably look forward to not seeing me constantly panhandling. Thank you all in advance for your help and support.
