Android apps should be required to manage their storage space better. My browser app has 1.5 gigs devoted to "user data" and there's just no way that's all necessary in order to let me look at websites on this silly little rectangle

There's a bar and grill near us that is possibly the only good establishment in the vicinity. I tip handsomely every time we get food from them, even just takeout, because I live in fear of that place ever closing down. I know that a good tip won't do anything to help their bottom line, but at this point I just treat it as some kind of karma offset. I'd sacrifice livestock on an altar if I had any of those lying around.

I don't think I've related to any line in Doctor Who more than Capaldi referring to the universe as a treadmill

Probably a strange statistic and it sort of depends on when you define the start of the pandemic, but I just realized I haven't gotten covid in about two years and four months, which is the longest span of time since the pandemic began* that I haven't gotten it.

I first got covid about two years and two months after the pandemic began, and then I got it again about one year and eight months after that. I feel like this is significant though I can't articulate why.

I've been trying to make foam art in my lattes, and despite always trying to make a heart, half the time it comes out looking like an onion.

I mean, I like onions well enough, so this isn't a problem per se. More like a happy little accident.

The power company keeps pushing back the ETA for power restoration, and with it, my hopes for keeping any of the food in our fridge.

I am surrounded by trees, and seemingly every one of them has a deep dark desire to fall into some power lines. They just crave it.

This is a surprisingly faithful recreation of the original PS One version, I'll have you know. The first Crash game was fucking brutal, y'all. They let kids play this.

Hey UX designers: if I hit the back button like twelve times in a row, it's a safe bet I want to get all the way out of your dumb app. Don't give me any of that "are you sure you want to quit?" bullshit. You know the answer is yes.

The cool thing about using soapy water to kill wasps that get inside your house is that not only does it not cause a mess, but it helps to clean one up!

Calling a quotation mark an "inverted comma" is like calling an exclamation point a straightened question mark.

I have always loved wasting time on the internet, so it's a surprise I've never been able to routinely read any webcomic, let alone one with continuity.

Why is regular dried mango the food of the gods, but then organic dried mango is leathery parchment that smells like feet?

Ridiculous to expect anybody not to chew on ice. The ice cube got in my mouth. My options are limited. What would you have me do? Tuck it under my lip like it's a chaw of tobacco?

It feels wrong to bail halfway through a song. Like, within the first ten seconds it's okay to skip. But if I've already listened to a minute and a half, I feel obligated to see it through to the end, no matter how much I hate it.

One day I hope to figure out why I'm like this.

You know, if you looked at my calendar, you'd be well within your rights to assume I was having a quiet week.

Just about nothing could be further from the truth.

I played GTA 3 years before seeing Scarface, so it was really bizarre and hilarious when I finally saw it and recognized all the music in it, having heard them on a loop for hours on end to the point of being sick of them.

A fun game I like to play is to always pretend I'm in somebody's way, and imagine new, innovative ways to get out of it.

It's even fun to play when you're alone, or perhaps most crucially, when you THINK you're alone.

Man, How To Get To Heaven From Belfast sure is a who's-who of minor Doctor Who guest actors, isn't it?

Well, I spotted three. Does that count as a who's-who? A who's-who of Who?

Tempted to buy a gas powered generator for when power goes out but I'm also hesitant to pull the trigger because I've played enough video games to know that the second you turn on a generator is when all the zombies in the area are attracted to your location

It's cute when people flip their phones around to face the contactless payment reader. It can't see your screen but it's very thoughtful of you to try.

I keep forgetting Widow's Bay is an Apple TV show because they don't show a character holding a latest-gen iPhone in every single frame
