I got my MacBook Neo yesterday! I have to say it is a different world than using windows for sure. New commands to get used to with using VoiceOver. I am so glad I can keep my workflow accross platforms. I can use edge on here to sink my iPhone and windows computer as well as my Mac. I am so greatfull that my parrents were able to help me get it! They actually surprised me with the computer and I honestly was not looking to purchase anything. It is so awesome to see my dream of owning an Apple computer, I always wanted one since I was 13 years old. I hope that everyone has a good day and is staying safe out there.

@pixelate@tweesecake.social @keao@caneandable.social I am not the best at explaining sizes to you. However, the screen is so thin, kind of like an iPad lol.

@pixelate@tweesecake.social @keao@caneandable.social I have to put on my lap yes. also, i will be on one of those chairs that folds when you stand up lol. it will be good because the keyboard is not as loud. I do not intend to take notes during the service though. I am going to be using it more on a table during the small groups.

@Kaliah@dragonscave.space Don’t worry, the Department of vehicles has upgraded their technology and are now using iMessage to message individuals about their license.

@patricus@gts.posix.live That’s not how that works, just because the leaders are dead, doesn’t mean that things go to whatever they want to. Behind all that technology there’s decades of control. You can’t just flip on a switch and be like OK, we’re back for good this time. Iran has a sophisticated cyber hacking group around, and if I read correctly, that country is designed to operate, even after the leaders gone I’m sure they plan for this sort of thing. Also, I’m not saying I know everything about this country, I don’t live there, but that’s just what I’ve heard around the Internet.

Hello everyone! I am redoing my introduction post. It’s been forever since I’ve updated mine and it’s gotten quite old. I am 26 years of age, I will turn 27 on October 19 this year. Some of my interests include, reading, listening to music, technology, and watching TV shows. I also enjoy getting to know new people, and saying hello to others around. While I may not post often, you’ll see me lurking around, and I will sometimes reply to posts or topics that interest me. When it comes to reading, I like to read a lot of science fiction novels. Things like the Martian, Project Hail Mary, and I am always looking for book recommendations of that type. As far as music goes, I listen to a little bit of everything depending on my mood. If I am in the mood to party, then I’ll probably listen to EDM. if I want to relax, I will listen to classical music and if I want comfort, I will listen to gospel music. For TV shows, I like to watch medical dramas like Chicago fire, 911, and that’s sort of thing. I also enjoy watching StarTrek Deep Space 9, StarTrek the next generation and StarTrek Voyager. My technology interests include, artificial intelligence, reading up on the latest technology, and so much more. This is who I am and if you would like to get to know me, feel free to follow me and message me anytime or just write me a post.

@keao@caneandable.social So far it is working for me. I was told at the Apple store many times how much it was in demand. I think this is a good way to introduce Macos without spending so much money. I honestly still want to continue to use windows to be honest and I am not looking to switch any time soon. I don’t plan to write music or edit videos with it either.

@keao@caneandable.social Well as you know Apple has their own sweet of office tools. Pages for writing, Numbers for spreadsheets, Keynote for Powerpoint presentations. I honestly use Joplin for my notes and they sink accross windows iPhone and Mac. I do hear that word has gotten a bit better on Mac so that is a good thing. I have not tried it yet however so I am unable to verify this yet.

@keao@caneandable.social Well Apples do since they were the ones that made them lol. Again though I am unsure of Office yet.

@keao@caneandable.social I am going to use it for note taking for the small groups at church. It is small and I feel better typing on a keyboard than a small EReaders keys lol.
Replying to
@keao@caneandable.social That sounds good. It is honestly a thin laptop too. It fits in my computer bag just fine.

@nycki96@caneandable.social Thanks and the commands are different for sure.
