I’m being paid well for the cover, new art, and an essay from my point of view. I also get the lion's share of print sales. We are offering two options—a full color of all four panels and a high-quality giclée of the last panel, which I remastered from the original and will sign and number. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/glennf/that-one-matt-bors-comic
A few months ago, editor and book publisher Glenn Fleishman pitched me an idea around my Mister Gotcha cartoon. We launch That One Matt Bors Comic on Kickstarter on May 12. Sign up here for an alert:

Glenn has painstakingly subjected his brain to the hundreds of remixes and riffs made from this comic--the best and worst of which will be included in the book.

A big component of this book will be new essays and comics from an all-star list of contributors:
Ryan North, Anna Merlan, Box Brown, Laura Hudson, Shay Mirk, Parker Molloy, Greg Pak, Gemma Correll, K.C. Green, Mattie Lubchansky, James Kochalka, Tom Tomorrow, and Ben Passmore. More to come!

To be honest I wasn’t sure about revisiting this cartoon at first, but Glenn’s approach of examining the cultural memetics and the politics of the comic made it appealing to me. Personally I don’t want pure celebration; I want dissection.
