Indie Games are pretty darn cool, so I write about them from time to time and make videos and streams to highlight gems out there. My vices are sweets and bitter coffee. I also draw and read a lot.
Honestly, #TrashGoblin is one of my favourite Indie Game releases of this year and one that I oh so desperately needed. See why here in today's #review :)

I've been so excited for this game for the past few years and now it's finally out. OPUS: Prism Peak is a melancholic adventure that tasks you with finding a way home from this ethereal world you've been spirited away to. Read more here!
During this year's #Gamescom, I got to sit down with Observer Interactive's Matt Houghton and Matty McGory to chat about their upcoming #petroidvania game, #GoodBoy! In this #interview, we talk about their core design principles, biggest challenges, and what it's like to immortalize the dev team's dogs in a game!

#BURGGEIST is perhaps one of my favourite releases from the last few years. It's an indie game through and through that is as strange and cryptic as it is beautiful and fascinating. I highly recommend checking it out if you haven't yet! Read more here in today's #review!
Hey, I wrote a little piece on Antifa, its history, and police brutality against peaceful protestors in Germany.

#MoonsOfMadness is a pretty darn great sci-fi horror experience even if it has some minor issues that hinder immersion a tad. Here's my full #review!
Tiny Aquarium: Social Fishkeeping tries to be part fishing sim, part social hub, and part desktop companion... but ends up more cozy curiosity than community builder. Still, I found some tranquil enjoyment in this comfy game... more on that in my review!

#HoldingPattern is a very charming and newly-released incremental game by a solo developer that offers a lot of content behind its minimalistic and simple gameplay. It got me pretty darn hooked. More on that in today's #review!
From music to story, #UNBEATABLE is unlike anything else. At #Gamescom this year, I had the chance to talk to D-CELL GAMES' director Andrew Tsai (and more!) about the upcoming (Nov 6!!!) release of this cult rhythm game, the journey there and what sets it apart from other games in the genre!

Limitation breeds innovation - and since the Personal Plan on WP is definitely limiting me a lot, I had to come up with some changes... but all is still very WIP at the moment.

NewFutureKids is launching their much-awaited game, #BoboBay, next week, and I'm super hyped for it! Think "Chao Garden" but more fleshed out as a standalone experience with lots of cozyness, exploration and customization. Can't wait to minmax this one into oblivion...

I made a guide on how to get all the achievements in #Cryptmaster (which is btw a phenomenal game).

Pokémon streamers are shiny-hunting Fire, Fighting, Rock, and Steel types, all super-effective against ICE, to raise money for the American Immigration Council during a weeklong #charity-fundraiser.

I started a new project called TheVTubingRadio which aims to highlight cool people in the space. If you're into #VTuber-related videos and want to see a bunch of interviews of folks in and around the scene, the first episode is out already. More on that here!

The Great Villainess: Strategy of Lily is a stylish and well-designed tactical RPG that is easy to get into and hard to let go off!
Also, it features art by Rolua, one of my favourite artists, so I just *had to* check it out. Read more in today's review!

#Bossgame isn't necessarily a bad game... but the pacing issues and overbearing portions of its writing rendered me unable to recommend it in its current state. At least let me skip seen dialogue, please. Shame, too, since the writing does improve. More on that, however, in today's #review!

For its third instalment, the triple-i indie game showcase, yet again, absolutely managed to blow my mind with all the cool and exciting new indie games coming out! Here are some of my highlights and all the other news you may have missed.
Prompted by a snide remark the other day, I decided to share some of my thoughts on the perceived notion of people being "too soft these days".

#IslandOfHearts is an FMV Dating Adventure where you get transported into an island paradise and have to survive a ton of bad acting and worse writing. More on that in today's #review!
Recently, a student by the name of Samantha Fulnecky claimed that she was discriminated against when she got a failing grade in a psychology class. I took a look at the essay and wanted to explain why this grade was justified, as well as use this opportunity to talk about various important things :)

Oh, look, ANOTHER post. This one's on AI and how overusing it hinders you from actually thinking... literally. It's bad for you to use LLMs and even Google Maps too much.

#SIGONO managed to surpass my already high expectations with their latest entry into the award-winning #OPUS series, and Prism Peak has managed to touch me in ways that barely any games managed to do so far. This might just be my Game of the Year. Here's my #review of #OPUSPrismPeak!
A plague is coming and it's upon you to help the village survive! Cozy yet intense gameplay ensues in #Grimshire! Read about what that entails, why I love this game, and more in today's #review!
