"If you think of yourself as an actor, or a dancer, or a singer, and you're not singing and you're not acting, or you're not dancing, what are you? Most people are between jobs. What are you between jobs? And if you think of yourself as an actor and you're not actually acting, you're kind of no one. This is how it's possible to see yourself. The way out of that is to actually separate yourself from your profession. That's what I do, that's not what I am." -Sam Neill

Virus on a boat – a belated graphic Remember when we all died from the pandemic that started on a cruise ship, caused by a passenger acquiring and spreading Orthohantavirus andesense? Me neither. That's because we didn't. And it didn't. It was unlikely we ever would. Or that it ever would. And that's because viruses often differ from one another. Sometimes they differ a lot. And that matters. Yes, somehow I didn't post a single blog about this at the time. Yes, this… https://virologydownunder.com/virus-on-a-boat-a-belated-graphic/

I'm behind in updating numbers, but it's apparent this could be due to a ⬆️in new deaths being found in the community each day, not those dying in a treatment unit.
