Up the the app developer to do something with it. Yes systemd has flaws, plural, its design is questionable. But right now it's just an excuse to bash it one more time. And so what, we go back to thousand lignes bash scripts ordered with numbers which can faim at any moment?

@jwz@mastodon.social @timbray@cosocial.ca why do you say it's not open? and yes I agree it is shady to have trying to hide it + I hate crypto bros. but recently, bsky and the at protocol is growing faster that activity pub and it deserves to be looked at.

@jwz@mastodon.social @timbray@cosocial.ca I think you misunderstood me. I care about open protocol and the fact that IETF opened a working group to standardized ATProto is a good thing. I love activity pub and that's also why I'm here (on my own pleroma instance). But the place, no matter where instance I go, looks more and more like an elitist place where you cannot have an opened debate. I'm sad about it. To be clear I'm not glorifying bsky, but the direction it goes is nice

@lumiworx@mastodon.social @nixCraft@mastodon.social I didn't say systemd had to do it. But acting proactively before those dumb politicians starts banning Linux distribution that don't support is at least something. But I agree with you it has nothing to do there in the first place
