@ferrydanini@piaille.fr I think a lot of this is due to the prevalent "psychological storytelling" approach of american screenwriting (I thought the insight from Zeynep Tufecki here: https://blogs.scientificamerican.com/observations/the-real-reason-fans-hate-the-last-season-of-game-of-thrones/ was pretty spot on ). Didn't see this one but I remember hating the first one, what with the annoying first character narration and the improbably ret-conned 21st century feminism of (most of the) good guys and gals
