@Nonilex@masto.ai One, just because they are "missing" does not mean necessarily that they are dead. The earthquakes mean that communication in Venezuela is a mess. Two, no one could have predicted those earthquakes so if they did die fault cannot be placed on him. There are plenty of other things more worth our anger than this

@evan unless his popularity improves, which I doubt it will, the vast majority don't want him so there would be plenty of opposition to him running again. I think it would quickly go to SCOTUS and they'd block him. If it even got that far. The bigger issue is the damage he can do between now and the next presidential election cycle.

@mergerson@mastodon.social I am disturbed as well but feel at a loss to know what to do. I know of no way to keep the faults of the offline world from leaking into an online one. No matter how much we want to. What can an average user do to prevent bad experiences getting cemented into the perception of what the fediverse can be as a force for good instead of one of harm?

@stux@mstdn.social suggestion a large container of ice placed in front of a fan. Also if it's cool enough at night open all the windows and shut them in the morning. Also keep any curtains closed during the day.
