Today I chanced upon a dusty bookstore in an italian town, and noticed they sold pen nibs that looked rather old
When the lady showed me her inventory, I decided to buy this fountain pen of italian make for a mere 5 euro
It took a while for the ink to flow, but what a fine line it produces, especially when held upside down!

Some sketchbook stuff

Sepia ink from a Sailor fude demannen fountain pen, and Winsor & Newton Cottman watercolor in a Talens art creation sketchbook

I highly recommend these books, they're not too expensive and hold water based media remarkably well if you don't mind a small amount of buckling

I had a great time tonight, watching the NHAM Sound Table on @TIBtv
Honored to have people listening to my music, and through the dutch language it is in
Vibing with all the people in the chat, and listening to all the great music mentioned
A huge thank you to @ethicalrevolution@climatejustice.social , @sknob@mamot.fr , @limebar@mastodon.social and @meljoann@topspicy.social for the friendliness, open mind and this movement

Not to forget the awesome music by @fstateaudio@mastodon.sdf.org , @keefmarshall@mastodon.online and @FastGhost@ravenation.club

Let's bonk!

Now for something different than my usual art and music toots:

I wouldn't proclaim myself to be a gamer really, but it is something I sometimes like to do in my spare time
My absolute favourite pc game is the isometric action RPG Grim Dawn, by indie developer Crate Entertainment
For many years they have even allowed me to be one of their playtesters

I'm proud to anounce their latest expansion for the game, Fangs of Asterkarn
I am biased, but to me this is quality gaming for a fair price (these guys work from home, just imagine!)

Go check it out!

Ruach the bug
I have painted this creature a number of times now, mostly in watercolor and gouache
But since I get to paint him on a huge panel during the Art Brut Biennale in may, I thought I should get some more practice in
So here it is, bigger, using acrylic paint on a canvas

@limebar@mastodon.social

I'm currently in over my head with a lot of projects, but would in the future gladly do collabs, either as an animator or musician
I may also have some tracks which I would love to see someone make images to

@limebar@mastodon.social @TIBtv clear, thanks for the heads up!
I'll try to make an extra effort to mobilize the scene here

By the way, I did see one of my animations during the animation block, a few times even
Much appreciated!

@TIBtv

Is there a way to know if and when submited videos and animations will be played?
Also, where does rap music fit? electronic, pop or rock?

My music covers through the years

#17 - KAAL (Bald)
For the rap duo Antagon, consisting of Djenghis Haan and myself, I designed this cover featuring a lice comb, electric razer and some smearing
All this for a concept album about two men with a wish for a hairless society, roaming the streets at night to ambush and shave people
In the end they turn out to be heroes, because they help prevent an alien lice invasion...
